The Morning After is the second in a series of mini-albums released in 2010. In the US the album was released with the first album as a double set The Morning After the Night Before on September 14.
The UK album features eight tracks – with an alternative version of Lookaway available as an ITunes download and an early version of Say Something, entitled Carousel, available as a download only track if the UK CD is placed into a computer. The album was recorded over a week at the end of the April 2010 tour in London.
