JAMES have left their label MERCURY RECORDS.
A spokesperson for the band has told NME.COM that the group have decided not to renew their contract with the label after futhfilling their obligation of six albums and a Greatest Hits compilation.
Describing the departure from the label as “perfectly amicable”, the spokesperson maintained that the group plan to release a B-sides album via Mercury later this year, and work is also in the pipeline to reissue the group’s studio albums in the future.
The band are set to tour their current album, ‘Pleased To Meet You’, in December.
