Crash is the opening track on James’ 1999 album Millionaires.
It was planned to be the fourth single off the Millionaires LP in early 2000 and a radio edit was reportedly prepared but was dropped due to the poor chart showing of previous singles.
It was first played at Liverpool L2 in July 1999. A version with slightly different lyrics appeared on an early promo for the album and a live version recorded at Guildford Festival was included on the limited edition two-disc edition of Millionaires.

A diva, a leaver, a lawyer, imagine, imagine
A fever, a vision, derision, imagine, imagine
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Someone got left behind the lies
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Some of them left the rest behind
All of your mail is unaddressed
Cut the Herman free from the Hesse
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
A letter, a photo, etcetera, etcetera, a Judas
A hotel, a motel, a motive, imagine, imagine
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Someone got left behind the lies
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Some of them left the rest behind
All of your mail is unaddressed
Cut the Herman free from the Hesse
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
This is Hell
This is Hell
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
Crash, crash, crash
A fever, a vision, derision, imagine, imagine
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Someone got left behind the lies
Someone got hurt
Someone got high
Some of them left the rest behind
All of your mail is unaddressed
