Review: EvenTheStars.co.uk
“The band are on good form throughout, Tim spinning Andy round on his chair during Sit Down and changing a line in Waltzing Along to reference Andy’s broken foot. Saul tells us he looks like a sinister accountant before Interrogation. The interactions between the band seem to drive them on, Debbie in particular being a driving force particularly away from her drum kit. Life does, it seem, begin at forty.”

Review: Ross Heppenstall @ Yorkshire Post
“Booth’s effervescence, incredible energy and sheer love for what he does kept everyone singing and dancing along before a stunning encore which included Sometimes, Tomorrow and the all-time favourite of many, Laid.
It was brilliant stuff from start to finish which left many of the band’s followers already planning their next James gig.”

Review: Iain McClay @ 3 Songs & Out
If I had one complaint it was that the gig had to finish, it felt like one of those nights where the band and the crowd were in perfect syncopation, even the confusion about the song to be played added to the night, making you feel this was a gig you would remember for a long while.
If you haven’t seen James live then you should, Tim Booth is one of British musics great frontmen, every member of the band is spot on, even the newer members who clearly haven’t been there from the start. If anything this is a band who are getting better and better. Go see them!

Review: EvenTheStars.co.uk
“Against the heavy odds stacked against it by the venue’s physical restrictions and some of the audience’s reluctance to engage with the spirit of the acoustic performance, the night feels like a triumph, one of those hard-earned ones with backs against the wall with a last-minute winner taking the spoils of battle.”

Review: EvenTheStars.co.uk
“The encore might be one of the worst kept secrets of the night as a curtain is pulled back to reveal the Love Music Community Choir who recently posted a video of How Hard The Day from Living In Extraordinary Times online and were invited by the band to perform with them. It’s How Hard The Day that starts the encore, the song lifted in the chorus by several dozen voices that transform the impact of the song’s chorus.”
