Curse Curse

Curse Curse is the second track from James’ 2014 album La Petite Mort. A radio edit of the song was released as a single in August 2014 and a video filmed at James’ gig at Mares Vivas Festival in Porto in the middle of a July thunderstorm.

Stems for the track were made available to fans to remix for a competition run by the band and DJ Magazine. The prize for the best mix was a physical release on a 500-only 12″ single alongside two professional mixes on Record Store Day 2015.

All I’m Saying is the tenth and final track on the 2014 James album La Petite Mort. A radically changed radio edit of the song was released digitally as the fourth single off the album in November 2014 and a video was directed by the Hungarian animator Péter Vácz.

The song is about the death of Tim’s close friend and mentor Gabrielle Roth. He often tells the story with the song that she had kept her illness from him and other friends and he was on his way to see her in New York when she died.

It was first performed at Leeds Academy during the April 2013 The Gathering Sound tour – it only made it into the setlist once on that tour.

Moving On is track three on the 2014 James album La Petite Mort and was released as the second single from the album in April.

The song is accompanied by a beautifully poignant video by animator Ainslie Henderson that has been used in hospices to explain death to young children.

The song is about the death of a loved one, in Tim’s case his mother and his mentor Gabrielle Roth.
