Life was released as a demo as part of the Deluxe Digital Album release of All The Colours Of You. It was an early demo of the song that eventually became Magic Bus on the album release.
Talking about the 5 extra bonus tracks on the Deluxe Digital Album, Jim Glennie said on James’s website that they were “rare and interesting snapshots of part of the songs journey not just ‘works in progress’ though but valid versions in their own right.”
