Having previously managed Duran Duran, The Rolling Stones and Lynyrd Skynyrd, Peter Rudge took over responsibility for James in the US in 1992 before taking over full responsibility in 1994. He has looked after their affairs continually since through his management company (which has had various names over the years such as Vector, Proper, Octagon and Mad Dog).
